Cookie and local storage policy

Small pieces of memory

This demonstration uses browser local storage rather than advertising cookies to remember a shopping bag and your preference choice. Local storage stays on your device and is available to scripts running on the same website origin. The prefix rentfolio_ identifies the keys used by this site. The term cookie preference is used in the banner for familiarity, but the demonstration does not install analytics cookies, advertising identifiers, or a third-party tracking tag.

Essential shopping functions

The bag stores selected plan identifiers, quantities, and month selections so you can move between pages without losing your choices. A promotion flag remembers whether you applied BLOCK10. These entries are necessary for the requested shopping demonstration and are used even if you decline optional preferences. They contain no card data or tenant records. Completing the demo checkout clears the bag and promotion flag. The demo order itself is not sent anywhere or retained as an account record.

Accepting and declining

The banner offers equally available Accept and Decline buttons. Both record your decision so the banner does not return on every page. Accepting authorizes optional preference storage if such a feature is offered; at present, there are no optional analytics or marketing features. Declining does not block browsing, plan comparison, the lightbox, or the demo bag. You can reopen the banner using Cookie preferences in the footer and change your choice at any time.

Fonts and hosting

Google Fonts is used to request the chosen typefaces. This is an external resource request, not a tracking feature implemented by Rentfolio. Your browser and the font provider exchange routine network information in order to deliver the files. The site works with fallback fonts if that request fails. Your hosting provider may maintain its own operational logs or security features. These are governed by the hosting arrangement and do not convert the demo forms into a data collection service.

Managing your device

Use your browser’s site-data controls to view or delete local storage. Clearing it removes the remembered bag, promotion, and consent choice; the banner will appear again on your next visit. If storage is blocked, the site keeps an in-memory bag for the current page and explains that it cannot persist the selection. Cross-page shopping may then be unavailable. You may still read product details and company policies. Contact the company shown below if you need help understanding the local entries or have a question about this policy.
